• Build your customer a custom size screen door in minutes from your own K.D. kits.
• Top and bottom rail wheel holes are punched, both ends are mitered to allow fabrication of sliding screen door to a range of sizes.
• A few simple cuts and you can produce a quality sliding screen door.
• Side rails are cut to 80" or 90" (oversize height) and mitered on one end to minimize cutting.

FABRICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

A) 36" or 30" screen width

1. Top/bottom rails shipped at 37-3/8".
2. Screen width can be fabricated as follows:
   • 36" screen - from 34-5/8" to 37-3/8"
   • 30" screen - from 28-1/8" to 30-7/8"
3. This allows a 2 3/4" width variance.
4. If your required screen width is between 36" and 37-3/8", cut only one end of top and one end of bottom rail to your required width.
5. If your required screen width is between 34-5/8" and 35-7/8" cut an equal amount off each end of top and bottom rail. For example, if your required screen width is 35-7/8" do the following:
   • 37-3/8" - 35-7/8" = 1-1/2" + 2 = 3/4" Cut 3/4" of each end of top and bottom rails.
6. For 30" screens with required width of 29-1/2" to 30-7/8", cut on end with two holes to required width on both top and bottom rails.
7. For 30" screens with required width between 28-1/8” and 29-3/8”, proceed as follows:
   • If your required screen width is 28-7/8" for example, take 30-7/8" - 28-7/8" = 2" 2 = 1"
   • Cut 1" off end with single hole then cut end with two holes at 28-7/8"

B) 48" screen width

1. Top and bottom rails shipped at 49-3/8".
2. Screen width can be fabricated from 46-5/8" to 49-3/8" i.e. 2-3/4" variance.
3. If your required screen width is between 48" and 49-3/8", cut only one end of top and one end of bottom rail to your required width.
4. If your required screen width is between 46-5/8" and 47-7/8", cut an equal amount off each end of top and bottom rails. For example if your required screen width is 47 7/8”, do the following: 49-3/8" - 47-7/8" = 1-1/2" + 2 = 3/4". Cut 3/4" of each end of top and bottom rails.

C) Cut side rails as follows:

Mitre square end of each side rail to the required height of your screen.
